Vincent Brun was born in 1616 in Loudun France. He arrived in Acadia in 1648. Married to Renée Brot four years prior, they had six children. Charles Brun (4th generation) was deported to Connecticut in 1755. In 1767, he was in Maskinongé. Many other Bruns of that generation, and others went to Quebec.
