Pierre Suret was born in 1679 in La Rochelle (France). He arrived in Acadia around 1708 and married Jeanne Pellerin in 1709 at Port Royal. They had 10 children. Pierre died in 1749 at Port Royal. One of his children, Pierre born in 1709, married Catherine Brault in 1732. They had 8 children among them a third Pierre, born in 1744. The latter will have 2 children while living in the Attakapas mountains of Louisiana. |
